Artist's Comments
So.. for those who have been wondering how this one's been coming along in my own version: here's the current progress. If you've been watching my scraps you can see I shifted the color of his lapels and have yet to shade or texture either the suit itself, his hair or the metals. Also, I haven't added the overall foreshading/lighting affect to Luxord himself yet, and I'm still debating whether his goldfinch friend Bird should be in the pic or not. *shrugs* Odd, I know. I usually do the most irritating parts first.
The background is the part that's taken the most time, as I painted it from scratch in paintshop and photoshop CS2. The only part I cheated on there were the stars, which are slightly modified "Glitter Brushes" from the amazing  's great collection. She has some pretty awesome textures too. :3 |
